Receivables Application Audit

A full review of how your receivables tracking application posts invoices, ages balances, handles disputes, and governs write-offs.

DeliveryOn-site in Seongnam / remote hybrid
Fee basisFixed fee by application complexity
Best suited forControllers and credit managers

Who this is for

Finance and credit leaders who rely on a receivables tracking application — whether a dedicated AR module, a collections workstation, or a custom invoice aging ledger — and need an independent view of whether it behaves as policy intends.

What you receive

  • A written findings pack covering configuration, access rights, aging rules, dispute handling, and write-off controls
  • Sample-based transaction traces that follow invoices from posting through payment or write-off
  • A ranked remediation list that separates urgent control gaps from housekeeping improvements
  • A closing walkthrough with your finance lead (and IT contact when access changes are needed)

What is included

We map how invoices enter the application, how due dates and aging buckets are calculated, who can reverse or reclassify balances, and whether reports match the underlying tables. We interview the people who use dispute queues and collection lists daily. We test a purposeful sample of open and closed items — not a random spreadsheet dump.

What is excluded

We do not re-implement the application, negotiate with your software vendor on your behalf, or provide statutory financial statement audit opinions. Tax advice and legal opinions on bad-debt deductibility sit outside this engagement.

How we work

  1. Scoping call — confirm the application name/version, approximate open-invoice volume, and the questions driving the review.
  2. Access and policy intake — read-only access where possible, credit policy extracts, and a list of power users.
  3. Fieldwork — configuration walkthroughs, sample tracing, and control interviews over one to three weeks.
  4. Findings pack — drafted, fact-checked with your team, then finalized.
  5. Walkthrough — discuss priorities and next owners for each remediation item.

Preparation

Have available: a current user-role matrix, aging report definitions, recent write-off approvals, and one month of dispute-queue exports. If your application sits behind VPN, arrange a supervised session or temporary read-only credentials before week one.

Constraints

Engagements assume Korean or English documentation. Multi-entity consolidations and shared-service centers may extend the timeline. Critical production freezes during month-end may pause fieldwork for a few days.

Fee basis

Fees are quoted as a fixed amount after scoping, based on number of legal entities, whether the application is standard or heavily customized, and whether on-site days in Pangyo or elsewhere in Gyeonggi are required. Typical mid-market single-entity audits fall in a clear fixed-fee band once we have seen the application landscape.

Next step

Request an audit scoping call and tell us which receivables tracking application you use. We reply within two business days with a proposed scope and fee range.
